Chartered Experts You Can Trust

EMFcomp is small by design. You will not be passed to a junior or an account manager: the Chartered Radiation Protection Professional who scopes your job is the one who turns up on site, takes the measurements and writes the report. Thirty years in EMF safety, more than 500 assessments, and links across the wider EMF community when a project needs them. Want to know more? Get in touch. We would be delighted to hear from you.

EMFcomp & Partners

Big projects sometimes need more hands. When yours does, we bring in trusted partners, each a specialist in their own profession, and manage them for you. You still get one point of contact, one fixed fee and one report, and EMFcomp stays accountable for all of it.

Safer Workplaces, Safer People

  • The physics of electromagnetic fields is complex. Working with us is not. Three steps, no surprises.
  • First, we talk. You tell us about your site, your equipment and your concerns; we agree the scope and a fixed fee.
  • Then we take it from there, measuring or modelling the fields wherever your people are actually exposed.
  • Finally, you receive a detailed report: the methods, the results, a plain compliance verdict against the relevant EMF regulation, guideline or standard, and a practical action plan for anything that needs to change.
  • Our clients range from small businesses to the European Commission.
  • We co-wrote the European Commission’s ‘Practical Guide to the EMF Directive’, the guidance that underpins compliance assessment under the UK’s Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulations 2016 (CEMFAW). When you ask us what the rules mean, you are asking a consultancy that helped explain them.
  • There is a lot of misinformation about EMF. You will not get any from us. Every measurement, calculation and piece of advice we give rests on peer-reviewed science, and every figure is traceable to a published standard.
01Quality
  • Quality EMF assessments at a sensible, fixed price.
  • Our analysis is built to do one job: solve your EMF compliance problem.
  • Energy generation and distribution, manufacturing, research, telecoms, healthcare: whatever your sector, we are happy to work closely with you and around you.
02Competence
  • More than 500 EMF assessments completed, and counting.
  • It is very likely we already know the sources, the layouts and the questions in your industry or sector.
  • Get in touch for more information and a free, no obligation consultation.
03Confidence
  • Our measurement instruments are regularly calibrated in internationally accredited laboratories.
  • Our computational methods are published in the peer-reviewed scientific literature, where anyone can check them.
  • So when we say you comply with CEMFAW, ICNIRP or any other EMF guideline, standard or regulation, the evidence stands up.
